Drum Closures
Drum closures or Bungs or Plugs are used to close the drum containers. There are various types of drum closures available in the market. Drum closures / bungs are in standard sizes i.e 2 inch and 3/4 inch for MS Drum and in multiple materials like steel and plastic depending on the requirement of the contents being transported. It acts as a barrier against dirt, oxygen, moisture, to penetrate inside drums.
Once the drum containers are closed with closures – bungs, the specified shelf life of the contents are maintained until the drums are opened.
